Doctors in Boston
Well tomorrows our trip to Boston and then again of Friday. We have to go the Nuerologist for our little man for his followup and see if they want to reshedule more MRI's or CAT Scans. Then on Friday is the Genetics Doctors apts. to get our blood results and do his sisters blood work. So this will be fun. He hates going to the doctors. He screams and crys and doesnt like to be touched. Its so hard with him. We have to do it. Hopefully one day he'll just get used to it and not fight anymore. His sister hates needles too so this will be intersting. The first time his daddys going to one like this too so he gets to see what mommy goes through all the time with him. Hopefully he' be of some help to us. So I'll post when I get back. Wish us luck.

Sensory Intergration Disorders
Both of my children have Sensory Intergration Disorders. Both of them are different disorders too, so it makes thing tuff around here when they are both having a bad day. Today is one of those days. My daughters day is a crying day because she is getting to much stimulation in her body and my sons is not getting enough. Hes have a fit day today with his other problems. So brushing her and brushing him every 2 to 3 hours to get their bodies to calm down, not really working today. He is wanting what she wants and she wants my attention when its his turn. Its tough. Right now hes crying and daddys trying to take care of him, so I can have a break. But it sounds like hell need me too. His poor little eyes. My daughters crying because hes crying and its hurting her ears. Too loud she says. The lights are all on dim because the lights hurt her eyes. She is not having a good night.
Bad day for our little guy....
Well he's having a bad day. he woke up at 5 am this morining crying so I had an idea this wasn't going to be a good day. He has been crying on and off ever since. He gets himself to where he just cant catch his breath so I just keep trying ot rock him, brush him, hold him tight which he hates so I dont do that much. He bangs his head and then hes fine. Its so tough to watch him do all of this and feel like nothing I do can help him. It really does bring tears to my eyes to see him do what he does and then the fits ends. At least for a few hours.
He'll take his nap and then he wakes up crying again and his time rocking him in the chair helps, but only after 20 minutes. It takes what it takes I say. In the meantime my daughter is getting upset and talking loudly saying to her brother stop it, be quiet, your hurting my ears. Its tough and so hard for her to handle also.
Then he's good for a while till his Daddy comes home and he starts again. He gets so excited that his daddy's home he just starts to cry and scream when he goes into the shower. So we let him get his crying out and calm himself down it usually works on his own. They play and ready stories before its time for bed.
Getting him in the bath is sometimes a hard task. He screams because he has to take his clothes off. Other times he cant wait to take them off for the bath.
Bedtime is just as hard. He fights his sleep sometimes and other times he runs right into bed. He wont sleep through the night though. He wakes up banging his head or having on of his fits terrizing his room. Or sometimes just wakes up to cry and yell.
